There are few other tools which basically to the same thing but they're not free and open-source. DS4 Windows on the other hand, is completely free and open-source. So if you're a developer and if you're interested in developing DS4Windows further, you can do by downloading the source directly from GitHub. DS4Windows uses original DS4 Tool code base. But in terms on functionality, it's much more easier to use than DS4 Tool.
